Himalaya Herbals Neem Facial Wash
Hi guys.. I am back.. After indulging into skin care adventurism (which is trying out tons of different products) and unfortunately experiencing break outs and rashes from it, I have found a good facial cleanser. I told you in my last post that I am loving my new facial wash. What is it? It is the Himalaya Herbals Neem Facial Wash. There are two variants of this wash one is the foaming wash and the other is gel type. I got the Foaming Face Wash first. It looks like this when squirted out of the bottle:
I was actually bewildered that it was literally a foaming wash. hihi.. I love this foaming facial wash because it made my skin really squeaky clean. I love the fact that it has a light organic scent reminds me of green tea. In my opinion it is suited for normal to oily skin. It made my skin a bit dry but cleansed my skin well.
Price: 159.00 pesos
This is the other version of the neem facial wash which is called the Purifying Neem Face Wash. I like this better because it is perfect for my very dry skin. It is a very gentle with a very light fragrance almost unscented. It moisturizes while it cleanses my skin. However, I find the foaming one better in cleansing power. I find it mild and perfect for my sensitive skin. Better than celeteque in my opinion.
The best part about this product is that it is made from natural ingredients. It contains turmeric which is known for its antiseptic and healing properties. It is used in treating and preventing acne. Further, it contains Neem oil. Neem tree yields a lot benefits to men. It is probably one of the most promising plant in the world because of its different uses. In India, it is known as the "Divine Tree" because of its proven medicinal properties.It is anti fungal, antibacterial and antiviral. It is used in acne treatment and relieves redness and itchiness too. It also soothes dry skin and lightens pigmentation.
From Himalaya Herbals:
Neem Foaming Face Wash is a soap-free herbal formulation that gently removes impurities from skin and prevents pimples. Enriched with Neem, Turmeric & Vetiver.
Neem, well known for its anti-bacterial, antiviral and germicidal activities, helps to control acne, pimples and their recurrences.
Turmeric is also known for its antiseptic activity and soothes skin.
Vetiver provides coolness and refrigerant activity. It also has antibacterial activities.
Ingredients Include:
* Azadirachta indica (Neem, Nimba)
* Curcuma longa (Turmeric, Haridra)
* Veiveria zizaniodes (Vetiver, Ushira)
Isn't it promising? A soap free cleanser which purifies your skin well minus those harsh chemicals. I am going organic!I also purchased a loot from a local organic company composed of different stuffs which I am currently loving. I will post about this soon. I am also amazed with Himalaya Herbals wide array of products. Take a peek in their website:

They shipped internationally!! I want to try their face packs also and their Kajal eye definer which unfortunately is not yet available locally. How about you? What is your favorite or HG facial wash? I really wanna know... :D

ReplyDeleteHi there, I've tried Himalaya's whitening clay mask and tee tree mask. Both work really well and are quite strong, so great for problem skin.

ReplyDeleteEverytime I went to Watson's I always see Himalaya products but I'm hesitant to buy them but when I read your review, lumakas ang loob ko to try it out. I bought the face foam (I love the foam) because I have an oily face. So far I'm loving it and it caused me no breakout as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCETAPHIL...no frills, gentle for babies, cleans very well, but never drying. :) it doesn't irritate ur eyes so you can literally scrub off ur eye makeup with it. won't react with ur next facial care steps as well..
ReplyDeleteI bought the purifying neem face wash (gel) recently. i have dry skin. i want to know if this face wash actually helps reduce pimples.
