October Makeup Haul
Hello everyone. Did September flew by so fast or am I just imagining things? haha Okay. The last time I bought more than two pieces of makeup was months ago. I am a change woman now. Me ganon. haha I do not just buy anything that fancies my eyes. Can this be attributed to age (quarterlife crisis, anyone?) or did financial literacy just affected me big time. Whatever the cause is, I was like computing every product I bought and I made sure these products will be put to good use. I have loads of makeup sitting in my makeup drawer right now accumulating I finally saw Catrice Cosmetics in Megamall last Saturday. Catrice is a German brand. It is a sister company of Essence and Deborah Milano. The price of Catrice Cosmetics are very affordable and the roster of their products are quite appealing to me. I was tempted to buy their light reflecting concealer and photo finish foundation. They even have gorgeous metallic eyeshadow shades and their quads look well put together. Here are the things I got for this haul:
1. Catrice Eyeshadow in Nude She Did It Again (Php 199) - I am fervently hoping this would satiate my lemming for Mac's Ricepaper.
2. Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder (Php 269) - I have the loose powder version of this one and I am just thrilled that they came up with a pressed version.
3.Catrice Prime and Fine (Php 369) - I got this because it reminded me of L'oreal base magique primer. This one is is housed in a smaller tub. I tested it yesterday on my hand and I got amazing and immediate results. It truly blurred the fine lines of my hands.
4. Catrice Multi Color Compact Powder in Rose Beige (Php 339) - This is a mosaic powder that blends very well. It ives off a brightening yet natural finish. I bought this because as an eye brightener and as a setting powder for my concealer.
5. MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot (Php 1350) - Soft Ochre is perfect for my yellow skintone and I got this due to Nikkie of Nikkitutorials. She has been using Painterly Paint Pot as a base. I love how this paint work well with all kinds of eyeshadow finishes especially light and neutral colored shadows. Now, I can't wait to practice my wedding day makeup with this product (Oh yeah.. I will be doing my own makeup on my wedding day! Excited!)
That's all. I wish I will have time to do a review on every product I mentioned above. All looked promising noh?
Also, please help me win this contest for my wedding!! For this huge favor, I will be giving away five thousand worth of Gift Certificate of your choice (SM, Robinsons, Rustans, Sodexo or Forever 21) and Two thousand pesos worth of Flawless GC. Please help me win this, here is the link:
