FOREO UFO Masks Review
Previously, I made an honest and straight to the point review of the UFO by FOREO Sweden. Today, I will be featuring the Advanced Mask Collection of UFO activated masks. Based on my review, you know by now how I love the UFO! This ingenious device is life changing for my super dry skin. Well, before jumping to the review of the advanced mask collection, let us have a quick recap on what the benefits and advantages of using UFO device than a normal mask:

Now, I will review the 5 masks from the Advanced Mask Collection. These are highly concentrated masks that are specially formulated to target different skin concerns. UFO masks are dermatologist tested, made in Korea, formulated with the highest-quality plant and fruit extracts, and the masks do not contain Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Silicones, Disodium EDTA, and Mineral Oil.
With the FOREOApp, each smart mask has its own unique UFO routine for better effect on the skin.
GLOW ADDICT
This mask is for brightening and evening out the skin tone. This is targeted to treat dull looking skin. Its key ingredients are Pearl Extract and Niacinamide. Pearl extract is known to minimize pores and improves skin texture. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that helps lock in moisture in the skin and strengthen the skin lipid barrier. This mask is suitable for all skin types.

My thoughts:
The Glow Addict mask is the perfect daily mask. This gives the skin that subtle glow. This is not super moisturizing like the H20verdose or Youth Junkie but it gives my skin that ample amount of hydration. This preps the skin really well creating a soft and silky canvass for makeup application. I also notice that it blurs out the rough and dry areas of my face after every use. I will definitely reach for this mask on special occasions or on days when I need my skin to look photoready in an instant. This mask is highly recommended to all skin types.
H2OVERDOSE
This is an ultra-hydrating mask that is targeted for dry and dehydrated skin. The key ingredients are Hyaluronic Acid, Aquaxyl, and this also contains jojoba seed oil. If you have dry skin, skincare products with Hyaluronic Acid is your bestfriend. This ingredient hydrates the skin really well and also reduces the visibility of wrinkles.
This Mask claims to:
• Provides an instant and intense infusion of moisture for smoother, more supple skin.
• Delivers long-lasting hydration to soothe dry skin.
• Replenishes thirsty skin’s natural moisture barrier to prevent hydration loss.
My thoughts:
Wow!! This is the first word I uttered when I first tried this mask. This mask is truly heaven sent for those with super dry skin like me. I have tried tons of sheet masks and this is probably the most moisturizing I have ever tried. This has a milky essence that gives immediate hydration and plumpness. With the hyper infusion technology of the UFO, the essence truly penetrates deep into the layers of my skin. This even softened my psoriasis flare ups and reduced flaking and redness for days. I highly recommend this mask to those suffering from dry skin. I will definitely repurchase another box.
SHIMMER FREAK
This is a specialized mask targeted to address dark circles, eye puffiness, and dryness around the eye area. Its main ingredient is Caffeine that helps add radiance to tired looking eyes.
This mask claims to:
• Instantly refreshes tired eyes.
• Diminishes appearance of fine lines around the eyes.
• Brightens eye contour with a hint of shimmer.
My thoughts:
This mask was a bit hard to use. It is specifically made for the eye area. Since the UFO has a flat surface going around the undereyes can be challenging. I applied it on top of my lids while my eyes were closed but some essence got inside my eyes which stung a little bit. I did not notice that this somehow lessened the puffiness of my eyes after use.
YOUTH JUNKIE
This mask is suitable for dry and mature skin. Its main ingredients are collagen, vitamin E, shea butter, and jojoba oil. Its main skin benefit is for skin renewal. Collagen and Vitamin E is widely known for improving skin elasticity and helps in firming the skin. While Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter are ultra moisturizing ingredients.
This mask claims to:
• Reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for younger-looking skin
• Improves skin’s elasticity
• Helps restore skin’s youthful plump
My Thoughts:
I thought I hit the jackpot with H2Overdose Mask but turned out I am on a winning streak after using this Youth Junkie Mask. Same with the H2Overdose, this mask has a milky gel essence that is very moisturizing. The hydration potency is almost the same as the H2Overdose but this one dries faster and sinks on to my skin quicker. This gives instant radiance on my skin making my skin more youthful. This mask has a lot of essence in a pack just like the H2Overdose so I do not throw away the pack and keep it for 2-3 times use. I apply it directly on my face with my bare hands and the effect is just as good.
MATTE MANIAC
This is a Charcoal infused mask targeted for combination/oily skin. This aims to purify the skin and to keep oil at bay.
This Mask claims to:
• Mattifies and purifies for clean, healthy-looking skin
• Diminishes the appearance of imperfections
• Helps to support the skin’s natural oil balance
My thoughts:
I have dry skin so I decided to let my husband try out this mask. He has extremely oily skin with enlarged pores. It was his first time to use the UFO and he said he wants it for himself! Haha He said the device was very relaxing. The mask itself blurred out his pores and made his skin look healthy. He said it hydrated his skin and made it softer than usual. This mask is surely highly advisable to those with oily skin.
Overall, I really love the Advanced Mask Collection of UFO by FOREO Sweden. Each mask is specially made for specific skincare concern and with the UFO and FOREOapp, the effect promised by each mask is easily noticeable even with the first use. Since, I have dry skin my top favorites are H2Overdose, Youth Junkie, and Glow Addict. H2Overdose and Youth Junkie have more essence compared to other masks, thus, the excess essence may be used 2- 3 times through manual application. I store the remaining mask essence inside the pack and keep it in the ref for that cooling effect. I also suggest to always wash your UFO with water and mild soap to remove the essence left after every use. This way, you are certain that the UFO will not be contaminated with germs or bacteria.
