| Good morning guys!! I am beginning to love nail polishes. For some weird reason, I do not want to accept it. Why? Another addiction would be a bit too much. Haha (Waley na ipon niyan!) So before I start getting addicted to nail polishes, I am planning to buy a good nail polish base. Any suggestions? I was looking for a blue nail polish but ended up buying this Chic Grainy Nail Polish in Siam. Looking at the shade on the bottle, I can really compare it with Dorothy's ruby slipper (Wizard of Oz) but on a pinkish note. The glitters and shimmers look so beautiful on the bottle. I was really curious about the ''grainy" thing. I imagined that this will give a beautiful grainy texture. Guess what? It did!! The grainy matte effect made it appear that I applied glitters on my nails. Look at my swatches. I think I prefer to use this alone without any top coat. My swatches do not justify the exquisiteness of this polish. And for 31.75 pesos? I cannot complain. Compared to other shimmery nail polishes (local) I own, the pigmentation of Siam is really good. I tried one layer on my mom's nails and we were in awe. This swatch contains three layers. Two lawyers is ok but I wanted more texture so I added another layer. This dries quickly compared to my other local nail polish but it is really hard to take off. |
