A reader of mine asked me to share my skin care routine and favorites.  I am very hesitant to share my skin care routine or favorites because I view my skin condition as a very rare one (dry, sensitive and ridden with psoriasis). Plus the fact that I am currently pregnant, I veer away from a different products such as those that are targeted for whitening and anti ageing. I also knew a lot of my readers have combination to oily skin. Nonetheless, I will try my best to post more skincare products especially the ones that I have been trying and loving. Moving on, Iwhite Korea sent me a new package containing their products and it included their newest Pore Purifying Balm. 

When I first heard about the Pore Purifying Balm, I did not know what to expect of the product until I read the flyers that came with Iwhite Korea's Package. Let me share with you the low down on what this balm is all about. 

What is Iwhite Korea Pore Purifying Balm?

iWhite Korea Pore Purifying Balm is a great partner product to iWhite Korea Nose Pack & Whitening Pack as it effectively helps loosen up and absorb the stubborn pore clogging oils, dirt, and toxins present in the pores.

Direction for use: (when used with Nose Pack & Whitening Pack) On a cleansed face, apply a generous amount on the T-zone or on areas with enlarged pores and deep seated dirt. Leave it on for 1 minute then start massaging it in a circular motion for another 1 minute. Wipe the balm off completely with clean tissue. Apply iWhite Korea Nose Pack and/or Whitening Pack for best results in eliminating blackheads and whiteheads.

When used alone:  Before washing the face, apply a generous amount on the T-zone or areas with enlarged pores and deep seated dirt. Massage for 1-2 Minutes. Wipe off with clean tissue then wash the face.

This Pore Purifying Balm reminds me of the blackhead steam packs of other Korean brands. It goes on like a thick and gooey milky essence. It smells nice like all Iwhite Korea products that I have tried. I immediately tried it after my mom delivered it to our house the other night. I pack it all over my  cheeks and concentrated the application on my nose. I let it stay for a minute or two. I noticed that it felt a bit warm on the face and some areas where I applied the product felt a bit itchy. I also felt that it made some areas subtly swell. After a minute, I massaged it for 30 seconds to a minute then completely wipe it off with a clean and dry tissue. Next, I applied the Nose Pack. Just a quick kwento: I honestly do not like the Nose pack and Whitening Pack of Iwhite Korea. I have tried using them before but they did remove any of my whiteheads or blackheads. That being said, I did not have high hopes with the Pore Purifying Balm coupled with the Nose Pack but just for the sake of trying out the product, I proceeded in using the aforesaid products again. I made sure that the nose pack was completely dry before peeling it off and my eyes widened in amazement when I saw tiny yellow gunk while lifting the nose pack!!!!! It worked so well that looked at all the white heads the Nose Pack removed!

I really love my newest discoveries that I tried it on my siblings and even on my husband. The results were phenomenal and grossly satisfying!!!!! hahah

Here are the photos from my brother's and husband's nose and whitening packs after being lifted from their faces!!! Eww right?!?! I noticed that the whitening pack if properly applied and dried completely can even pull facial hairs. 

The Pore Purifying Balm plus the Nose Pack worked wonders on my skin. The Pore Purifying Balm effectively loosened up my pores. I prefer using the nose pack not only on the nose area but also all over the face as compared to the whitening pack. 

MLI Tips: In using the Pore Purifying Balm, make sure to leave it for one to two minutes on the face then massage it afterwards for a minute or two. Then, completely wipe it off with a clean tissue (dry). Apply the nose pack in thin layers. Make sure that the first layer is dry before adding more to completely cover up the bubbles or tiny dots formed because of deep and open pores. Before lifting the nose or whitening pack, make sure that it is completely dry. 

I highly recommend the Pore Purifying Balm together with the Nose and/or Whitening Pack to everyone!!!!! It worked for my dry and sensitive skin very well and even on my husband who has a very oily skin type. These products from Iwhite Korea come in sachets so you could try them first at a very affordable price before buying the full sized products.

Iwhite Korea gave me this product last December for me to try. I did not like it on my first try especially when I swatched it at the back of my hand. I honestly do not know what it does. It felt like a moisturizer but it delivers a white finish/ cast after blending. I gave it to my mom after swatching it and never thought that I will be using it again. A few weeks later, I blogged about a CC Cream and a reader of mine mentioned this product. She mentioned how she loves this product and works like a CC Cream and a makeup base in one. Luckily, Iwhite Korea sent me new samples and I did not hesitate to give this another shot.

On my second try, I immediately noticed the fresh scent of the product. I love the subtle fragrance that is not too overpowering. This is a lightweight cream that blends smoothly when applied (no tugging whatsoever). It felt like lotion on my skin. This does not dry quickly which I love. It leaves a demi matte finish on the skin. It is an instant brightener. My face looked lighter after application and it somehow even out my skin tone slightly covering the redness on my skin. This does not alter the color of my foundation or BB Cream. This has SPF 15 but I have not yet tested it if it leaves a white cast on flash photography. It does a great job of prepping my skin for base makeup application but it does not lengthen the staying power of my makeup. 

I do notice that it clings on dry areas on my face like my psoriasis and rashes as seen on the photo below. I love using it on days when I have clear skin but whenever I have rashes or flare ups, I skip this to prevent highlighting my imperfections. Overall, this product is a great makeup base for those who wants an instant brightening effect, hydration, and sun protection. I have tried using it alone with my regular powder foundation and it worked well for everyday use. 

This is the latest addition to Iwhite Korea's skin care line. This is a specially formukated mask that gives the skin a healthy dose of whitening care with all natural active ingredients. This promises hydration and skin brightening. At first, I was lost on how to use this product because I got so many masks last year but this one is a bit different from the rest. This is a wash off mask and doubles as a gentle exfoliator. It reminds me of the best selling Japanese product - Cure Aque gel. 

This comes in a gel paste form. It has a very subtle fresh scent and a sached consists of 8ml. One sached is good for 3- 4x usage.

How to use this mask?
On a clean and dry face, apply a sufficient amount all over the face avoiding the eye area. Leave it for two minutes to dry then massage the product on the face in circular motion for exfoliation.

The amount of product to be used is very tricky because if you apply too much, the mask will not dry fast and there will be exfoliation action that will happen. So make sure the mask is dry and spread evenly on the face before massaging it. This is how my face looks like after the gentle exfoliation process.

I will be doing 2 successive posts within the day on two similar products not exactly dupes but products in the same category like concealer reviews  or 2 moisturizers - one is high end and the other is affordable. For my first B2B post, I will be doing moisturizers review. I received this Iwhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer a week ago. Iwhite Korea is very popular because of their nose pack which is my fave from their skincare line. I honestly don't have high expectations on this product. Having dry skin, most water based moisturizers don't work well with my skin.

Despite the promises stated by Iwhite, I was honestly hesitant to try their moisturizer. Why? Firstly, I am very happy with my Avene Hydrance Primer and the other reason is that I am not familiar with the brand. When I had the chance to speak with Jamie from Iwhite, I was very honest and I did not hesitate to ask, "Made in Korea ba talaga yan?" I have his notion that this brand is just made here in the Philippines because of its price. She answered "YES, It is made in Korea and owned by Koreans." Bongga!

I first tried the one in sachet so in case I do not like it, the tube will be given to my readers or to a friend who wants to try it. After trying it, I am now hiding all the sachets and my extra tube because this moisturizer instantly became a household favorite. Lahat sila gusto gamitin!!! From my mom to my brother, they really like this moisturizer. My mother even told me, "Wag mo yan ipapamigay sa giveaway mo!" (Nashokot naman ako! Threat ba yan Ma??) Well, I really hope Iwhite gives me more stocks because I am we are in love with this moisturizer.

This Moisturizer comes in a gel form but ones you start rubbing it on your skin, water molecules are formed. When I first tried it, I immediately exclaimed, "WOW!! ANG GALING!" haha Naamaze ako bakit ba? This has a very fresh subtle scent. This moisturizer is very light and extremely fast absorbing. Once dried up, it leaves a nice smooth velvety finish on the skin. It works well on my skin especially if I do not have dry patches. What makes this moisturizer extra special is that it doubles as my primer. What?Primer? Yes, primer. One of its ingredients is Glycerin. In case you did not know, Glycerin is a good moisturizing agent and acts as a good primer as well. I noticed that everytime I use this moisturizer, it turns my face into a flawless canvass and makes my powder/foundation last a bit longer but nothing at par to those heavy duty primers in the market. It just makes a good primer for everyday wear. Also, whenever, I use this I can skip makeup base like cc/bb cream or liquid foundation and just use concealer and powder.
